Any result of Northumbrian open yet?

I fished Cullercoats harbour (south side), with not a knock, rattle or any sign of anything remotely fishy, conditions were less than promising, sky was blue and clear like a summers day, sea was ultra flat.. but I enjoyed every second,
even though the fish didn't play... but...there must of been a few places up the North East coast that threw up some nice fish....any word yet?

14 pound odd won from craster with one 10lb 4oz , i fished colour nose area had one cod 2 lb first cast then lost another next cast , , buckets of flat fish from the beaches made up most of the fish not that many cod , great prize table ended up with some greys neoprene gloves, jamcod

havent got the full results as yet but the winner was andrew stanton with three fish for 14lb odd,
he scooped the lot £1000 heaviest bag,£500 heaviest fish,£188 for the team event,and £150 for the superpool.
canny days fishing that.well done to him on those conditions,it was like fishing a summer match.
350 seniors plus juniors and ladys.over 100 weighed in,
mostly made up of flattys,and some bloody gooduns at that,well done to all that fished and to those who managed to catch and recieve a prize.
will post full results as soon as i get the tickets.
prize table was fantastic and was the raffle.thankyou evryone.

can't wait to read the results, those cod mentioned above are real toppers 4 the sea being flat, were the cod fresh run or red codling just a thought mate?

frsh as a daisy mate,loverly fish,most of the codling were fresh run.
the flattys were toppers,shame most were dead.some were well over a pound and some even touching the two pound mark.
but quite a few were returned to the new beach alive,
suppose it will be a canny flatty shot now.

Yeah he didnt half walk away with a gud amount of muny lol, i fished it and managed to get 3 flattys at 4lb 6oz,as far as i know.... i managed to pull the biggest flatty at 2lb 5oz got a nice prize for coming 21st , greys neoph studded waders , annoying thing is a only got some oceans waders on thursday, loved every minute of fishing today, very first comp aswell
