never seen them before but the first problem i thort of is bait presentation if you wont to thread the worm up the shank of the hook and onto the line, the eye looks to big also there is that ball that would not help either

has/does anyone use hair rigs for sea fishing, i could image using a bunch of small rag wriggling on the hair being quite effective for flatties.

Not sure if there is much need to change what's already in use, he also mentioned the only way it would come undone is if the line goes at certain angle ? I imagine the hook goes all sorts of angles under the water ?

Seen them awhile ago.... I think (cant really remember) I think they said they were for match fishing with frozen (probably crab) will work like but looks just as fiddely as wrapping it 10 times round as it does tying a knot in winter lol

You could tie a hook on quicker! If you want the same effect just whip the hooks on or use a spade end knot!

not yet but bought some big halibut pellets to try. going to give it a go when a decent shoal of whiting are feeding or when being crabbed off every few minutes. Not sayiny they'll work but should be tough as old boots
