Was fishing off the middens last night & there was quite a bit of action going on at the small beach between the groin & the pier. Rescue boat was out, helicopter, police cars, ambulances & a lot of lights near the pier & what looked like a rescue going on but just a guess. Anybody have any info on this?
As for the fishing, i caught 2 sized cod & 1 eel, thought the buggers would be gone by now. All on fresh peeler
