anyone fishing the David Jobson open at the weekend?

Are there many people going to be fishing the open at the weekend. Sunday, i think the registration is at the Ridley park hotel Blyth 9.30am.

boundaries are from beadnell (pattersons garage) to bergen quay (river tyne)
10.30am-2.30pm

not sure on how much tickets are?

I'll most likely be fishing it - -the tickets are £10 all in (incl. £2 towards heaviest fish). Should be a good sea on

i probs be fishing british sea anglers (meet)comp on saturday afternoon 30+ anglers so far turning up hall beach 3pm till 8pm £2.50 heaviest fish £2.50 heaviest bag .depending if its fishable

27lb 11oz to be exact, it was a Hartlepool lad, but belive he was fishing up here somewhere, waiting for photos and full details.

have just had somebody on the phone, they had cod of 17lb, 10-5-0, and a tiddler of 3lb last night.

these fish must have been from up north as there was nothing much from blyth to tynemouth. have you seen my report.
