Anyone had any luck off Blyth pier recently?

I'm thinking of fishing Blyth pier this weekend as I been out off the beach and had no luck at all!!! Just wondering if anyone has off the pier (not the west pier)?

Haven't been on for ages mate, only really worth a visit if there's a big sea on.

Ah right, it's just I've just bought a Penn 525 and wanted to try it out aswell!
Still getting to grips with it lol. Seems like a canny piece of kit like. Aye like I said....No luck at all off King Eddies, the ranch and Astley arms So can't get any worse lol.
