Anyone out tomorrow? (Sat 26th?)

Just wondering if anyone else is planning a trip out tomorrow? Forecast looks spot on according to Met Office. Slightly different on Magic Seaweed, but still only 1ft swells. Just checked the Longsands webcam and the sea looks nice and flat too so sounds like it won't be a wasted journey this time! :D

We're setting off for the first tide so will be leaving from Seaton Sluice around 2am-ish (depending on how light it is at that time I guess! ). We'll be staying around St. Mary's & the yellow can, hoping for a good morning out but we'll see! If anything changes with the conditions I'll post it here.

All the best.

Steve

I will be out but only for 2 hours macky bashing only with the family.

My opinion will be a slight sea from mid morning until dusk with a slight roll from the south but still fine for all class of fishing boats.

By the time i get out 11ish i would think every rock.wreck and sand bank will have a boat on it, as everyone will be sick of the last two weekends worth of weather.

Thats good to hear. Just hope Seaton Sluice is alright to get out of at the time. Sure it'll be fine though, fingers crossed! ;)

Oh well, good luck! I'll be hopefully tucked up in bed with a nice fruitful report on here when you're heading out! :D

(optimism is key)
:p

All the best.

Steve.

We went south the other day and was very poor only had 1 ling and 2 codling off 4-5 wrecks but no 2 days the same...I have done well this year hitting the 12-14 mile wrecks but its hard work from 200-250+ down and bad on the fuel.

I've never caught a ling before. Hopefully tomorrow will be my day! I'll be trying shads for the first time so hopefully it pays off.
