Cracking idea that Neil, I really wish I could have managed it, my name would have been down like a shot mate. I always planned on having a go up there but unfortunately not able now. I used to really enjoy reading Gogs catch reports from up that way, some really good marks around that area.

Jim.

ps anychance of putting this at the top of the page so it stays there so people can see it

Aye no bother Neil, seeing it's just a couple of weeks and it isn't an open comp lol. Sick of saddo's accusing me of favouritism lol :casstet::casstet:

Jim.

Rod and Grahame have been up there in November for the last few years Neil and they've caught a fish a cast some days. Nothing big but plenty of 3 - 4 lb fish. They were based at Ferryden and fished Usan mostly. Me and Rod have fished Boddan and the Deil's Head (with Gogs as it happens Jim). Here's a couple of photos from last year.

Jim - is the 14th November too early to start?

Wondering how long it would take, David!!!

Good bag though mate and some nice pics.

Oh, and does anyone know of a mark up there called red rock? I went there some years ago and cant remember where it is.

just got back from arbroath (cleadon club away match) and it took us 4 hours to get up there like just over 3 coming home heaviest fish was 2lb 10oz, the sea was to flat for fishing up there i thought but the beer was nice though ;)

Just when all seemed perfect for a days fishing, work kicks you in teeth!! Sorry but won't be able to make it this Saturday, Not sure where your boundries will be but if you get a chnace to fish Usan I reccommend the Black rock if the seas not to big, or to the left of the Fish Farm out on the second big skeer, low water mark and a cheestie wade to get out to it but if the tides back enough and colour is right then there should be fish out to the far left on the point of the opposite skeer.
Rough and heavy ground but the result can be awsome.

Best of luck

G
