Strong westerlies so it's going to be flat. From what little I know about Arbroath ( and it isn't much) I understand you need some sea on to have a decent shout.
Ya want a good easterly /south easterly for Arbroath mate , south west lifts the sea a bit but me personally I wouldn't waste my time unless there some east in it
