The missus thinks am a few sarnies short of a picnic. There's been many a time when I've been waiting for her to get in from work on a night time then I'm out the door for a chuck. Remember a few winters back when it was bad and I would walk from my place to tynemouth/cullercoats in blizzard conditions. I've fished in freezing fog when my lines been freezing and the fish I've caught have frozen solid. Also watched the wall of snow coming down the tyne when fishing in the docks, which looked awesome.
As already said, it makes you feel alive, the excitment, the anticipation of feeling a good lunge when your stood in a daze. There's nothing like it, just man against nature, it does'nt get any better.
