Went down ssp to fish the float afew hours over high water, it got to about half 8 and there was a bloke firing a gun into the water down near the rubble, next thing we knew the helicopter was over head and the armed response were coming along the pier, apparently the bloke was bored so he took his gun down fishing with him! What an idiot that's all I call say. Canny fishing session anyhow plenty of coalies and Pollack on the float biggest about 2 lb

Yes it is stupid and not sure what type of gun it was. It used to happen awhile ago, some people used to take air rifles to the rubble to shoot the rats.
