At night wen dark

You can still spin at night the same as you can spin in a desert...wont catch nowt but you can still do it unless mackerel have purchased night vision goggles :) as stated above a day glow light would help but the whole point of spinning, is a light bouncing off a object that the fish go for, its hard when its dark :)

well I know for definite that you can catch Pollock on the spinner and bass on the plug in the dark, been there, done it, got the tee shirt, and if ya wanna float fish in the dark Scotty, add a starlight to the float, then you can see it all the time ;)

Predators don't hunt by sight alone, what about vibration.
