Well done on catch. Sounds a bit like that film, the birds, rod taylor and tipi whats er name. Lucky escape mate:D

showing your age a bit gordon remembering film and actors of that age lol
P S gordon her name is Tipi Hedren me grandad just told me her nameha ha lol

well done on catching jim , that beak looks a bit evil mind :oi think i would just cut my line ;)hoping to get down on wed night or thusday just have to see when no work in

if anyone had been there they would of had a good laugh first and last time l pull one of them in :red:

if you ever hook a bird again or anyone on the site does, don't be frightened, get a hold of it gently by the neck and hold it close to your body, if possible cover their eyes, they will calm down and you will be able to remove any gear attached. We don't want the twitchers having anything to complain about.

in the past when a have caughtg gull, cormorant, or whatever a usaully have been lucky enough for some kind angler that has known wh at to do with out being scared, and your right jimmy a probably would've run a mile am terrified of them but a would not deliberatly hurt them, a even put the weavers back without harming them
