Well we had a great day however the results were down on previous achievements with the regulars.

We did however have two new faces who threw excellent first time PB\'s for people so young. New starters were :

Baxter Lindeman ( 15 years old) .
First time with an Overhead and Surf Rod: 125 meters with the 150 gram :D . An Excellent performance for someone new to the game.

Robyn Johnston ( 15 Year old )
Our first young lady to attend.
Another excellent result of 88.2 meters with 12 \' surf rod and threadline outfit casting 100 grams. :D

Zak Roydhouse: ( 15 years old )
Down on his previous pb but still very respectable distance with the 100 gram of 175 meters.

Mark Johnston:
125 grams 203.3 meters
150 grams 203.4 meters
175 grams 202.4 meters
Also down on his average with 203.03 meters

Lee Andrews:
Excellent casting on a day not producing for all the other casters
100 grams 214.3 meters
125 grams 215.9 meters
150 grams 221.4 meters
175 grams 224.45 meters
A very respectable average top three of 220.58 meters :D

I had what could be considered a BAD  day but was able to salvage one respectable distance:
150 grams 205.6 meters
175 grams 196.1 meters with .35 mm

Well down on my average with only 200.85 meters.

Even though the more experienced casters did not do as well as expected a great day was had by all and we are looking forward to our next meet,
details will be posted in advance.

Here are the results from the few NSW boys who were able to throw some distances prior to the NSW titles next week.

75 gram:
Scott Selby - 196.27 meters

100 gram:
Scott Selby - 220.30 meters
Ces Selby - 209.35

125 gram:
Scott Selby - 244.00 meters
Ces Selby - 207.00

150 gram:
Scott Selby - 244.26 meters
Ces Selby - 201.80

Some very good distances and we will need to keep up the practice to put pressure on young Scott.

Regards and good casting

Well done JPS...some good distances from the Juniors...treat em right as they will be going past you one day !!!

I think the only way to stop Scott and Lee is to tie their thumb\'s together! ;)

Keep the results coming.

You are right about the juniors, they are all shaping up to be top line casters and it won\'t be to long before they are pushing not only me but all of the senior casters. This can only be for the benefit of tournament casting in Australia.

I will post more details as they occur.

regards
Jeremy :D
