So how has it come to this so quickly? Tomorrow is our last charter out of Whitby

One more 415am call, one more drive from Filey, last bacon and egg rolls and last 2 boxes of squid and last girn form Lynn when the alarm goes off. Her girns have been getting progressively louder as each trip fails to live up to expectations! Surely to God we will catch some decent fish tomorrow? I only ask for half a dozen Cod each, they don't have to be big, 3lbs plus will do. Is that too much to ask?

It is a horrible thought that this may be our last boat trip of the summer, unless we can squeeze in a weekend in Hartlepool between summer schools. What a dreadful thought, as it's only July 9th!

On a brighter note, the weather has been amazing, the local Indian restaurant fantastic, caravan great and sealife centre pretty darn good as well.

All we need to set us up for the long trip home is a few fish tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for us please!

The cod god will shine on you both tomorrow without a doubt! To be fair nobody deserves a good day more than you guys. At least saving your big day until just before heading home means all the fish you catch will be lovely and fresh for the trip home!

Its worked for me loads of times norm saved me blanks when the going was tough i nearly always take oranges out with me now plus when you have peeled them the orange is quite refreshing lol
