Away for 7 weeks

We are off over to our caravan in Drummore on Wednesday for 7 weeks - apart from a 5 day gap in the middle when we are off on holiday in the Midlands !!!

Plan to wedge a lot of fishing in when over there. It will be mainly shore fishing using spinning gear with the odd boat trip chucked in.

Hopefully will be wedging a few reports in here. Have laptop/Internet access in the caravan via a dongle but it is so slow. Any reports will be posted from either Mariners Cafe or the pub on our Clashwhannon site as they both have WiFi.

Try not to break anything whilst I am away !!!!!!

Where are you off to in the Midlands John?

It was a special deal that "Days Inn" were doing,the wife spied it somewhere. £10 per night for an on-suit room,free WiFi and parking. Its just off the motorway somewhere in the Bradford area. Will be skipping on Bradford but exploring the country/gardens/houses around there. Will have some photographic gear with me so will be well happy !!!

From there its straight back to the Mull of Galloway and hopefully more angling adventures.

Yeah, reports whenever you can..

Our group had a 4lb bass and lots of follows close to monreith on Sunday, so there's plenty if silver bars about for plugging sessions.

I will do. You just gotta love Mariners. Their full Scottish really is a "bellybuster" and will keep any angler going for the full day !!!

Also Sandras 4 bairns Sam,DJ,Shauna and Star are mint. They all call me Snatch and I am more like an uncle to them now which is nice.
