28 seniors and 5 juniors fished for the WJ Wood Cup from Tynemouth Pier and roving between 10 am to 2-30 pm and only 9 wieghed in.

1st Peter Stewart 4 codling 3 lb 11 ozs West Quay
2nd Steve Harper 4 eels 1 flounder 3 lb 7 ozs Pottery Bank
3rd Dave Sloan 2 flounders , 1 eel 2 lb 13 ozs Pottery Bank

H/F Dave Hayley flounder 1 lb 3 ozs Pier

welldone lads ,couldnt help noticing today looking from s/sheilds pier onto tynemouth there was a lot of walkers on there today i thought it was closed from the public ?

Far as I'm aware the top is open to the public,unless weather conditions dictate otherwise.The lower section is open for club matches only and not to the general public possibily due to insurance as there is no railings on the lower section.
