16 members fished a roving match as Tynemouth pier was closed due to the fog. Only 1 weighed in

well done to Neil Carter who caught a flounder of 15 ozs

"Closed due to fog??????????" Let me think......anglers may have cast out and hit unseen Scandanavian ferry, scratching paintwork......fog was thick enough to blur the perceived edge of the pier, resulting in someone possibly falling off.........local police were worried that the film "The Fog" might just be true............the PTA wanted there to be no witnesses to the 300 illegals using the fog as cover............
