Well hes gone just saw on sky sports they jumping ship.newcastl anounced
to supporters that for £3 they can get STARD printed on the bk of their tops

As always a Sunderland fan knows before a Newcastle fan whats going on in the toon...wonder why :)

Yer shame he has gone but you cant spot him, we have a defender now and really need a new striker and a attacking mid player. Colo wont go in this window but may go at the end of the season, no problems with that if he wishes to go back home and play for his childhood team as well as settle his young family back down.

Tough season ahead for both north east teams, even thou Sunderland fans seem to love the fact toon are below them it cant hide the fact that we are both only 1-2 games away from the bottom 3 with almost half the season left, lefts face it Newcastle are doing very poor and int he last 50 years Sunderland has only finished in the top half of the table of the top tier league 3 times (Just heard that on BBC sport) thought it would of been more times.

Hes head was turned along time ago mate....money speaks thats all i need to

as always a little bite from a newcastle fan.... cos its all over the sky sports news that probably why he knows. :)

I remember a few months ago when yous were above us the same thing happen a lot of newcastle fan giving it the bigging now its all gone quiet
but in a few more game yous will be above us and the shoes will be on the other foot yous will be loving the fact ya above us swings and roundabouts mate.

I'm not to fussed about him leaving to be honest. As Paul says all players just chase the £££s and have for years. If you follow an average club, which is all we have in the North East, our players will always make easy pickings for the clubs offering over £100k pw.

Players come and go no matter how good or bad they are but the club will always remain and this will also allow Cisse to now play in his preffered position through the middle.

players will always pick a london club over a northeast club any day for the lifestyle alone big city bright lights smart birds what have we got?rough pubs tarts and kebbabs lol

I wouldnt call sunderland and newcastle small clubs??as we are prob in the top ten
in england with the biggest crowd attendance.all players are well over payed
and are pre madonas if thats spelt corectly lol.put a wage cap on them then you will
see a massive change on pitch and their attitude

Thats why i always stick up for the north east clubs even Boro when faced with any other YK fan's...

We have proper derby matches
We all live breath footie
We seem to know more about football than most other club fans
No matter how crap we are doing you always find us walking around here or on holiday with the club tops on

As i said above both teams in real trouble this year, by the end of Jan we could both be in the bottom 3 and cut adrift....long way to go and i hate to say it but i rather Newcastle get put out the cup tomora as we dont have the squad to play in the prem not to mention Europe and the FA Cup no matter how long or short lived them comps maybe.

more like rats and sinking ships mate

One in, one out is hardly an exodus!

That's more like it. Most of the time with the North East clubs and other mid to lower premier league sides, the best we can expect is that our star players perform to their best before being picked off by the top sides and Ba certainly did that.
It's not just the London clubs either, the Manchester clubs and Liverpool haven't done bad out of us over the years.
The only ropey thing about Ba signing for Chelsea is that they haven't got a permanent manager and the next one in ( and the next one six months later :)) might not fancy him. Hardly securing his career, short term money maybe.

Fair enough. I have read many angry posts from "fans" on Skysports calling Ba a traitor and a money grabber. Most of us felt the move was inevitable. The Carrol one hurt more at the time for me. Funny how things aren't so bad with the benefit of hindsight:D

If Cashly spends some dosh and gets a 15 goal a season striker i be happy but hate to think we would need to go with Ameobi and Papa as the strike force.

I daresay there will be a lot more threads about this before the end of January.
Now then, what was it I meant to do tonight? Aha! Fishing!

your right about lifestyle bright lights:D:D

but mate your well of the target regarding the lasses:(:(:(

Perfect result for the toon from my opinion, out the cup that was a waste of time being in this year apart from the money that the club dont get anyway and Ameobi sent off meaning if Papa fit Pardew has no choice but play him in the centre again...happy with that really am.

Now spend more time training on the pitch to try and move up the league and stop playing long ball footie that is so crap to watch.

Totally agree but the Europa is taking up to much time we might not be playing all first team but the time spent traveling and training schedules being affected is not helping, all we need to do is stay in the prem
