basic cheap rig for rough ?

Only thing I can think that you\'re describing, is the use of a 3 way swivel - 1 eye attached to your line, one eye for the hook snood and the other eye has the weight attached by a length of line.

This is the type of rig Stores uses for the rock marks and is illustrated in his book \"The Codling Crouch\".

I guess, if your fishing rocky or kelpy areas, the less you use on your rigs by way of swivels, beads, crimps, clips, etc, the less likelihood of anything fouling and becoming snagged.

Best use a pulley rig, with Cannylinks ;) Ive sent a lot to south wales. Theyre mentioned on the gowerrockhoppers site. and worldseafishing.com

Looks like this:-

It\'s not meant for casting any distances with - but it\'s just a short lob you\'re putting out on rock marks, anyway,

Others probably use different, but I use 30lb main line and 25lb Amnesia for both the weight and the hook.
