Bass lure fishing

I've heard a few people mention using soft plastic lures for bass, I've never done this and fancied giving it a go. If any one could give me some advice on what time of year is best and if there is anywhere around the Cambois or Blyth area worth trying it would be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

Try the areas you mentioned, 10 degrees is the magic number, once the water warms up they'll be around. They will be there now but not in numbers.

alrite mate ive caught bass off most beaches inthe area so you probs got a chance at any of them if your there at the right time:)

Try laying your hands on some holographic latex sandeels ;)
Use a big bubble float with at least an 8foot leader off that. pitch it well into the surf and retrieve.
Mind you've sometimes got to put the hours in to catch Bass with lures.

Having been Bass fishing in Cornwall for the last thirty years or so I know nought about the local waters . But, I will say the most productive (and fun) method for shore catching Bass is to use a Popper over weedy marks.
