Hello Everyone
, My name is dean :O Really? Yes it is lol. Anyways last year i had loads of fun with my challenge, I used a 6ft spinning rod to catch as many species of fish as i could. I ended up with 9 species of fish, with a few cracking bass, a mullet (I posted it on forum), a 4lb Pollack << Dont ask, this was the hardest fish to land the ammount of times it ran for the kelp and i was helpless pfft i was amazed i landed it
, wrasse, plaice etc.
But this year My challenge is to catch a Bass yes a bass on a plug, Last year i had 13 misses. One of the most fustrating things when you see a bass fly 5ft out of the water behind your plug and you start winding slowly thinking come on take it you know you want to and it never comes back. Its embarrased its mates are going HAHAHA you missed
Anyways, Im looking for a nice plugging rod, anyone got any nice suggestions based on experience?
Btw, If anyone wants to share with me some tips for the north east it would be greatly apreciated. (PM me) I am purley a sport fisherman. Every fish and i mean every fish i catch gets safley returned to the sea. I dont use daylights for makky i use a single hook or fly v.light line and a small reel and whippy rod. I like the feeling of releasing fish unharmed to fight another day, really its just the way i am. And i know you guys are protective over your marks, you have worked long and hard to find these marks and put the time and effort into finding them. But a lil help from you guys would be greatly apreciated.
Anyways, Any bass fisherman might wonna check this out Bass Anglers' Sportfishing Society, Well worth the membership. Dedicated to bass and preserving stocks.
Cheers lads Dean
