going to have a look up the coast on saturday with the two lads was thinking of trying lynemouth or alcan beach.is there anywhere else up that way worth a shot cheers

Could give the mouth of the Wansbeck a try, if you have no joy on the beach there then try in the bay/estuary itself around the high tide for flatties.

Private beach in cresswell is a canny shot. You can fish the rocks or the beach, although it can still be a little snaggy

private beach is good when there is some sea on and very poor when it is flat .Craster could be ok or howick
