Thought bringing Benny on changed the game but pleased he walked off at full time rather being carried off.
Will be nice to see him on Sunday for the full 90 mins

It could be 2/3/4 - 0 I really can't see where Sunderland will get goals from, although it is a derby & anything could happen.

If we get an early goal I think it could be a rout & most Sunderland fans I have spoken to tend to agree as they now seem to be getting as many injuries as us.
 
Other teams at the bottom are just as poor, no one seems capable of putting a run together.

5 points between 6 teams all trying to avoid the last relegation slot.

More interesting than the top this season.
 
its a derby. anything could happen, how many years since they beat us at St James, probably overdue, a sadly realistic predication of 2-1 to sunderland in a scrappy game. If we are lucky it'll be honours even.

be nice to nick 3 points and put some pressure on towards their descent to their beloved 'fizzy pop league' but don't see it happening.

and FWIW, as much as I'd like to be able to rub their noses in the fizzy pop league jibes of a few years ago, the north east and football in general is better with all the NE teams in the premiership

we are doomed with out an early goal we have not got a goal scorer cant wait till it over to tell ya the truth just hope we dont give to many goals away.

It's the NPower championship now, don't think they do pop:D
I'd take 1-0 no bother and that's what I think we'll get.
Can't wait for tomorrow now. HTL.
 
Going with 2-0 but could be alot more...as many have said cant see Sunderland scoring at all but it is a derby and i am sure 100% at least 1 red card will be shown :)
