Would have to be Stores, never met him, but the codling crouch and subsequent info on eyemouth is priceless.

Maybe ask bitchbutty for advice on blyth toilet marks, he has a great knack for posting crap. No obvious fishing or football knowledge.

I can understand all the banter in the football threads but it seems to me that every thread gets hijacked by the same person just trolling trying to upset people one person called him a wanker last night starting to think he was right.

How does someone who has only ever started 3 threads, all football/wind up related become a Senior Member?

Maybe it should be threads that count, not replies to other's efforts!

Of course it means something. It means, or should mean,you are a regular contributor to the site and help in a positive way to make it the great site it is.

Which is what all the people that have been named on this thread, as people who are willing to help and share their knowledge, do in spades!

I have had great help from loads of people including Lingking, Stevie r, Paul the Spark, Kartkonkel, Easy fish, Jarrow Viking etc etc.

But you can just get people grave digging old topics spamming for post count to get stuff in the for sale section, if I was to lets say spam 40-50 threads with 10 letter replies would you say I've contributed to the site?

That's why I said "should mean" and also questioned why people who don't post threads get Senior status. I'm glad we agree! :)

Wouldn't it just be easier for a lets say 'vote' every month of who has been the most helpful in topics and so forth, get a little badge at the side of there name top contributor or something silly like that, maybe just maybe it'll make people people reply to threads and give them a bit of advice rather than ridicule them for asking what time is high water like that thread the other day..

I think come the winter time , it may quieten down a bit on here . when the lads can get out yucking and get some fresh air !!
