best rig for walkway plz ??

hi lads im thinking of fishing the walkway friday nyt can any one help me plz whats the best rig and bait to use plz ,,, any help would be gratefull as im gunna travel from hpool and long way to cum with the wrong gear thnks lads spotter

depends what your targeting mate, when i fish competitions there i tend to use 2hook portsmouth rigs, basically its a 2 hook flapper clipped down incase your wondering. when jus pleasure fishing i tend to just use a pennel rig with bigger baits

Cant go wrong with a pully pennel. Clipped down rig, armed with 4/0's if fishing larger cocktail baits, or just worm baits i drop to 2/0's.

To be honest mate any type of rig can work down there providin you can retrieve quick enough and the. Tide isnt rippin through

I use 2hook clip downs or my favorite pulley pennel which has never let me down

and try and nail the big mermaid , i mean cod, that people have been seeing up there.

what's a 2 hook flapper pulley ?

up and over pully is good,

or try a fixed paternoster pulley,

or a running ledger pully.

if that fails stay at home and give ya self a pulley.

You can buy 2 hook flapper rigs out of Boyes for 59p each, i have half a dozen in my box.

As to pulley rigs have made a half dozen of my own to lose next time down.
