I think your run of the mill bib&brace are great for general shorefishing, but boat fishing in summer "no not for me" they get uncomfortably warm and sticky. some bib and brace/salopettes are fleece lined...the greys ones aren't and as much as Yes they can get hot and sweaty (when the weather is good enough ) they do protect you and your clothing from all the fish sh@ and associated fishing type clart - anyone ever noticed that a fish in it's last throes will spray you with s***e down the leg?
