Big carp at st marys

Was looking down whitley way tonight, had a look over st marys lighthouse, looked great for big carp amoungest them rock pools.

Just wondering lads, if anyone has targeted them there and if so what the biggest one theyve landed?

ive herd of afew doublers from there but never got round to giving it a bash.

Av seen them in the rockpools swimming around, bloody stonkers aswell easly over 20lb, im going to go down one evening in the summer then try get one out on the spinner, if not ill surley get one to the float. Have you had any from there?

Andy you spent too many hours on the pier you wouldnt have a clue about the big carp that enhabit our rockpools on our coastline... the word dangler springs too mind!

Look, yer can get perch in salt water, i saw that on a matt hayes program in sweden or some neck of the woods like that so why not carp at st marys?

are you going down st marys mate? its still high tide atm but i recon by tonight itll be lit up like blackpool with the amount of anglers on there, there will be no need for the lighthouse.

Eggsactly mate, the thing is, you dont here people targeting them around here and thats why you dont here of them caught much at st marys, hopfully that will change.
