Graham\'s fish now added to the northeasts roll of honur, I make it the sixth biggest cod shore caught between Scarborough and Berwick since 1953. What a belter

What an amazing catch! thats a fish of a lifetime that, and to be written into the hall of fame is an excellent feat. Well done Graham
Lets just hope that there\'s not a rush of people tot that mark to fish it \'cos its really dodgy! The cliffs along there are always crumbling and muddy lumps always fall off so be careful if you venture owa there.

You\'re right Andy. Thing is though it never really throughs up a lot of big bags, so theres going to be a lot of blank sessions ;)

Me experince is that in the past a mark that has produced a good fish w9ill be packed for the next few weeks, regardless of the conditions.

topper fish m8 i only wish i could catch one bigger than 7lb my best 3 years ago....

Just for the record, one or two have quite rightly pointed out that the sea was pretty flat in the pic. I noticed there were some postings on the board asking TC where the Wherry was so i thought it might be an idea to put Graham on a pic of the wherry which i had taken last year and along with the directions Tc had posted it would give a little more info for those who were asking.
I also sent one of the original pics which was taken 20 hours after its capture.
The Gazzette misquoted me when it said it was the biggest in 38 years, the biggest as Alan Charlton points out was in fact Alan Chapmans 28lb 6oz cod, i knew only to well about that fish as i was with Alan Chapman when he caught it.

Had not read your article Terry and had not read the previous posts fully, just pointing out the fish that have come from Whitburn, what time of year as a bit of interest. Hope you will send pic down to Darren Taylor at Total Sea Fishing. And i know what it is like to be misquoted.
