just heard from a lad i fish with regular that there was a massive cod caught last night on horden beach by a 17 year old lad has anyone on here heard anything about it

A couple of lads I know were fishing Horden last night and nothing has been said. May be a case of the big fish rumours starting early this year.

there are lots of reasons why some don't want publicity, some very good reasons which i won't go into, I know quite a few who do very well but don't want a mention, well not their real names anyway, there is always ways of getting round a problem.

I'll claim it then. Just say i caught Alan. Somewhere on Tynemouth beach. It weighed what ever u wanted it to weigh. It'll be nice to get my name in the papers!
