big fish

Have heard there was a fish over 12lb caught off the end of the rathouse,anybody else heard this,supposed to have been caught yesterday during the day!!

yes lads thats the pic cod caught in daylight at round about 11:30 cracking fish an oldish bloke caught it he is from washington he said it was his 2 sesh out this year lucky man

I think that about a few fish posted on here Davey just never say it, but u know never know with the camera angle.

Well that tab end is 1cm long in that picture and the cod is 25cm long,so say the tab end is 1" long that would make the cod 25" long which would make it about 6lb.the trolley wheel is no bigger than 8" and its only aboout 3 trolley wheels long.Still a nice fish but 12lb+ .I have my doubts

Then I stand corrected,but comparing it to objects around it does look small.
P.S a 12lb cod should be approx 32" long.

just spoke to Andy, it weighed 12lb 14oz and taken by a Mr Collingwood, wouldn't give Andy his first name, anybody know him.

so i was right on the weight or nearer enough 10lb 12lb its the way i took the pic on my phone
