big scent trail

made similar, lump of plastic water/overflow pipe, heated and pushed over the rear of a long tail lead, fill the pipe with whatever, seal end with a pva slug of foam, cast and it melts out letting the contents leak out
 
ive still got her if ya wanna borrow it best bit of kit ive ever owned :D

never seen them myself, be better having the bait on the hook in my opinion :P seen people using feeders for coarse fishing but obv to bait up a particular swim, never seen them used in sea fishing. personally i wouldnt bother but i know nowt :D

Why buy these expensive snag catchers? If you want to create a big scent trail, put a big bait on! Nature has already gave us the perfect solution with an edible feeder, SQUID. Stuff the fkr with all the goodies you can, stab it a few times and use a pennall rig.

I too, know nothing. :confused:
 
I might give em a go. fill with bloody frozen sardine mush and put a whole calamari on short snud just above. could be easier than stuffing and binding cali on a cold night. Its the way i fish my baits. Thanks for the link. If they dont work you havnt spent a fortune.
