LOL, use your boat rod mate, it wont make any difference, the only prizes we get are out of the raffle 
If anyone is interested in fishing this match it will take place 27th december 2011.
Fishing time 10am -3pm.
Register at blackhall navy club between 8am-10am.
£10 entry fee. Juniors free if accompanied with an adult.
First - £500
Second- £300
Third- £200
Also excellent prize table.

I fished it today, weights were in kilo's so i'll have a stab at weights in old money..........1st cod 4.5lb, 2nd cod 3lb, 3rd cod 1.5lb after these it was whities and flatties. I got a pair of Neoprene socks for a 7oz flounder and a cadbury's selection box out the raffle

aye i managed 3rd heaviest fish with me 1lb 10.8 oz codling. also managed 5th heaviest bag with a coley n 2 flounders for a canny bass rod off the prize table.
1st was d turnbull 4lb 6 oz ish
2nd was Bri lee with 2lb 3 oz ish
3rd A. bartolo with 1lb 10.8 oz
was only 3 codling wieghed in.
alot of the fish weighed in where just flattys.
