Blast beach Hawthorn hive parking ???

Hi all, I had a walk round blast and hawthorn the other day, I quite fancy having a crack down there but after my mates car was broken into down horden I'm a bit conservative over where I park these days. So can someone tell me where the best place to park would be when doing a night session that car park at blast looks a little ropey to me.

Alot of lads park there cars on the grass side of the road never seen any trouble in the car park thats where we park when we fish down there

unless you are prepared to walk a very long way your car will be at risk i used to park at the houses next to the farm ie on right hand side of rod coming from dawdon and under bridge.best to get gear out of car fast as people yobs see you go fishing they no you will be away for some time.

most anglers park under the sreet lightsopposite the industrial estate just beside the round about on the grass , then you can follow the path along the top of the blast to get to the hive . havent heard of any bother there , but there has been the odd car done at noses car park during the night .

Yeah, the last one as you are coming down the road from the A19 (it looks over to the blast beach). Little metal barrier where the kerb drops and you can get the car up no problem onto the grass area.

Was going to post the same question. Last time I fished the Blast I parked in Dawdon pit yard - shows how long ago that was

Nice one fellas might get myself down on Tuesday, conditions not looking so great but it's always nice to be out especially on a new venue.

I put my motor in the industrial estate and walk from there-bit of A trek but your car should be ok-mine has been.

Never had problems in the industrial estate or the roundabout under the street lights...

as said previously its best to get your gear out fast and get away from car on account if people see you getting fishing out they may assume you will be away for some time and dont leave nothing on show in the car.

sad times what you have to do these days is,nt it.

It was so much easier and safer before they blocked it off from driving down onto the beach in the landrover. Fell over that 3ft high barrier after the comp on Saturday and didn't half bruise me ribs as i was too knackered to take me heavy box off me back, and went a#se over tits

Being able to get the Land Rover down there would definitely save the legs on the walk to Frenchies, used to fish there loads as a lad might have to give it a go again in a couple of weeks.
