I've read a lot of catch reports and it's accounted for some very good fish on our shores as well as being a pretty universal bait for most species. I've not used it myself but I am going to give it the time of day. What do you guys who have used make of it ?

Regards :)

I've had more catches with bluey than I've had with mackerel in the river, beach or pier any time of year

got most of my turbots on it nicky, its cheaper at the chinese supermarket in town

A lad last year had 42lb bag up north 2 fish were 12 amd 13lb all took on bluey normally sortes out the bigger fish I habe also had codling and my dad cod to 5lb on bluey cracking bait

excellent bait.

its that good it attracts everything.that everything includes crabs and small stuff.
thats why some reckon its more of a 'crab/ sprat magnet' than other baits like cart.

However, i wreckon its also, without doubt, an excellent magnet to the bigger fish. December to feburary the time to hoy out the bluey fillets, as long there's kelp beneath

It's winning me over. It's not massively more expensive than mackerel these days and it certainly stinks, so can't imagine many fish ignoring it. I still reckon a long strip of bright white mackerel belly is excellent in clear water, though.

Very good for all species! Sometimes tipping with it during the winter can make a difference for cod! You have to whip it on as the skin is soft like sardine and it makes your hands stink for ages! I have to wash my hands with bleach afterwards and I can still smell it!! As said before it works great in the river. Caught as many codling in the river with it as with lug!
Great bait!!! Dosn't wash out as quick as mackerel as well!!

if I had to pick from all the fish baits bluey would be first
top bait for a scent trail
have to give it 10 out of 10 caught my personal best on a bluey cocktail
