I've been with BY for years and have no complaints about their service, I was paying £17.99 for 2mb Broadband & £25 for talk unlimited phone line. Looking around I decided I was paying too much so I called customer services and asked "do you have any deals for existing customers?" she immediatley reduced my bill to £28.50 for the next 6 months I told her I could move to BT & get the equivalent of talk unlimited for about £20 then get sky broadband free but she wouldn't budge any further. I don't really want to change providers but at least I've saved £15 per month.

Get on the phone lads n lasses!

keith if you have sky digital you can do the same i phoned up a couple of months ago and told them i wanted to stop the service cos i thought it wasnt value for money .they upgraded my package to the full lot movies sport the lot and reduced my payments to £21.50 a month .not bad eh give it a go shy bairns get nowt

upgraded my BT package. Now as a rule I loathe BT, but there internet service has been great.

up to 8Mb connection (although I can only get 3 out here in the sticks) extra phone number with unlimted voice calls anytime, nice wireless modem/router, with a snazzy phone attached £26.99 a month. they might change there mind though when they see how many phone calls I actually make at peak rate!

keith you fancy making a phone call for me because you had more luck than i ever had

been with teleworst for 7yrs now , got all the channels,phone,internet high speed ,paying what i consider way way to much and still they have the cheek to charge me occasionally the 10 quid late payment charge which allways comes before the bloody bill does

when i phone up to enquire and say im not happy i get the normal reply im sorry about that but its out of our hands its the rules tho i did once get the tenner deleted

so it seems loyalty gets you nothing but a newcomer gets everything for 30 quid for a short while then they bleed you dry

now weres that number for sky again

You'll just have to call their bluff & cancel all the subscriptions. IMHO SKY TV is better than TW anyway, all the interactive menus work it doesn't take 30 secs to switch channels like the cable used to.


I got a nice letter from NPower yesterday putting our utility bill up from £82 to £141 per month

is there actually anything on sky that warrants paying for it??

used to have it years ago and there's was nowt worth watching, and the various friends/relatives that have are always moaning about how much it costs and that ther's seldom anything worth watching.

fishless i used to have teleworst a few years ago that was until they sent me a bill with an extra 50 quid on it which was unexplained.when i rang up i was speaking to one of there trained monkeys,who could not explain what the 50 quid extra was for after talking to about five people for two hours the extra money was still unexplained so i went up to their office at team vally.i spoke face to face with one of the managers who went on the computer and after a few mins said "sorry its our mistake as a way of saying sorry they gave me all the channels free for month"i left pleased .a month later the cheeky bas**rds charged me for all the channels and the 50 quid was back on the bill.i rang them up and told them that there digital box was in the garden if they wanted to pick it up i phoned bt had the phone connected by them and cut the cable in the garden with a spade .i still havent paid the bill
