Fished Blyth pier from 7pm til 10 pm with sunds left over bait. Been working in Ashington so thought the pier would be as gud as owt. Got to the pier base and was shocked to see not a soul on it. So went to the end for the first time. First cast came back un-touched, 2nd chuck resulted in a small flounder. 2 other lads came on at this point followed by one more. Few more casts fed the crabs, so decided to try the bend for last 2 casts....nowt! Hope lads that stayed got something, on positive side a didn't blank
