blyth pier today 7-2-2009

Been to blyth pier today from 10am til 5pm,my mate got a codling just over a pound and a whiting just over a pound,both caught on squid.I myself had a blank,was using rag,mussel,squid,razor,lug.North West wing was blowing,strong at times with bit of swell,heavy snow showers all day.I only seen one more codling of just over a pound and three more whitings caught all day.Maybe the lads coming on for the night time session will of had better luck

at least there's a few more fish about than the past few days! hardlines on blankin as i know how ya feel done it twice already...

I noticed earlier the sea was trying to come away today - probably put the whiting off a bit but upped the chances of a codling or two!
