I dont know if i`m the only one getting a bit miffed ! But i think there should be a new section for the above topic ! Maybe its just me but it would be interesting to see any feedback and take it from there !

but the idea is sound and a good one,then anyone who dosent want to read advertising dosent need to go there:exclam:

too bad we cant do the same with television:exclam:

my "forecast" is that this will be a good debate:exclam: or on the other hand it might go "dead in the water":D:D:D:D:D:D
 
the best advertising is a good catch report from happy fishers....

with nice pics and sometimes videos too :D

i'm not too keen on the one liners where you open up the tread to find an advert....:(
 
I agree...bit fed up with "Charter Boat such and such ten spaces available etc" if they had there own section I could ignore it to my hearts content...plus the keyboard warriors would all be in there and easily ignored also
 
theres an option on ya user cp ignore list to ignore any usernames so if anyone ya dont want to read about it wont show ..dont all run at once to add my name :D:D:D

Thing is a decent report with pics would be far more effective method of promoting any charter. What we are seeing in some instances is less than subtle advertising in a less than inspiring report...just my thoughts
 
Vely intelesting.
As you probably know I run a charter boat but I did not join this forum to advertise it, I've been going a few years now so I don't struggle for customers!
Like a few have already said a good report and a few picks and maybe a vid should do the trick, I say again should do the trick. I tried this but still got a pain in the but !!
A section for charter boats could work well for the owner as advertising aint free!

I just watched your vid on my iPad with the wife sat next to me Rob, by the 12th f in ell she stopped looking over at me in disgust :rolleyes:
Nice fishing though, and very much the vocabulary I'd be using in the same situation :D
 
i can only apologise for the lauguage...

this "summer" if i get out... the terms i'll use will be....

what a day tho....best of 2012 so far....execpt for the pollock..;)

on a serious note, i do believe the catch reports for charters on this site do the advertising ....pics and videos...the way forward

i should know..i've done enough..favoritism i suppose..

i'd like to do one from phantom 1 like...heh heh....

Bloody hell...that pollack....i had to laugh again at the vid Rob, its mint, like kids at xmas, the thumb bit is just the grand finale............i counted 12 f's & hells before the thumb @1.42mins.............brilliant
