Boat Competition Dates 2011
All the dates the second date is the back up if first one is cancelled due to the weather.
April 9th or 23rd
May 7th or 28th
June 11th or 25th
July 9th or 23rd
Aug 6th or 20th
Sept 10th or 24th
All the above date's are a saturday
Heaviest Fish 1st /2nd /3rd prizes and raffle prizes
To be held in Hartlepool for boat owners small, large, including charter.
Start time 7.00am fishing till 5.00 pm due to boats leaving marina at low water.
Rules
All anglers willing to take place must register before the competition starts at registration point specified. (Tees & Hartlepool yacht club from 6.00am till 6.30am)
(Friarage tackle and bait shop from 6am)
The boats shall not leave until 7.00am with fishing to 5.00pm .
Weigh in 5.00pm till 6.30pm at friarage tackle and bait shop.
All boats may leave harbour and go no further than second red buoy in line with the heugh before the 7.00am start to save congestion in the various harbours.
All fish to be gutted after the weigh in.
There are no limits on distances boats can travel.
Entrance fee and payout
The entrance fee is £10.00 per angler payable at registration prior to the start.
1st prize will be 45% (of entrant’s fees)
2nd prize will be 27.5% (of entrant’s fee)
3rd prize will be 17.5% (of entrant’s fee)
Total payout 90% (of entrants fee)
The remaining 10% will be given in donation to the RNLI.
No member of the shark family to be weighed in..
