What are peoples opinions of changing the name of a boat? Has anybody ever changed the name of a boat?

if you are superstitious dont do it. I am not and changed the name of my last boat and had some great times and catches with it. Well to be honest i came home from work one day and my eldest son was actually changing it for me.

id never change the name of a boat. I read a piece on the web about changing the name of a boat and it put me off plus it also said never launch a boat on a friday because it brings bad luck. well i didnt listen and ive had bad luck ever since lol. :casstet:

Changed the name of the boat 6 years ago.
Company I worked for went bust and I had to sell the boat. If I get another boat the name will stay the same.
