a lot of lads go to Woodwards in Hull. they will pick it up and send it back afterwards, or as i did, after a call and a bit of crack, i took it down for 8:30 waited around then picked it up at 12;00, that was for a repitch. 90 quid +vat, it was back on the boat that afternoon.

Somewhere on the prop there will be a number, google the number and you should get some links to companies that do replacements...here's a link to a company that does repairs for a reasonable price...:)

Propeller Repair - Specialists - Castle Marine

I think props are way more important than we think. All those dented, damaged and aged props in the Marina prove it.

Nobody would drive their cars with worn, damaged or aged tires.

An old damaged prop will give you less economy, more vibration, less efficiency, more fuel consum, ption, less speed...and all those other things you dont want.

I`d say it would almost be worth with every service to replace the propeller unless its as new.

For your engine size you will get a prop for around 100£ or less. Ideally you buy it locally, where the dealer lets you rev it on your boat to find the ideal pitch
