if you listen to deano it aint to heavy mate listen to me and it is,i have heard of d.a.m. but know nowt about them in terms of quality etc,perhaps ask local dealer(fishing tackle that is)

I've got a couple of silstar boat rods you can lend mate one is quite floppy so should give more sport

deano i have spent more time on a wave than you have spent at sea,forgotten more about fishing than you could ever hope to know in your life time

I have used 30lb and 50lb rods on wrecks ,and they are both just as good people should really add in my opinion ,before slagging another fisherman off ,
We are all different and prefer different methods of fishing .
