Managed a run out Saturday from Hartlepool, wish id never bothered horrendous wind most of the day must have been force 7 ten mile out:( Got 2 cod 2 ling and whities, most lads on boat must have been lucky to have a size cod or ling each and a couple o pollack caught.Wont be rushing back out.

forecast was crap so I didn't bother going out the drift would have been terrible .would been hard to touch hold bottom good forecast for this weekend up to now .better luck next time what boat were you on matey.

I had a party booked for the afternoon but cancelled because of the wind. Lads wernt too pleased at late cancellation but the wind was way stronger than forecast.

Bri,
You should know better being a vintaged angler 😊 And watching forecasts.
Who did you go out with?
It's unbelievable how mid week weather is good and how many weekend blow up. It's not often kind for the charters who rely on the weekend bookings over the short season, those down south have it easy compared to our north east skippers.
