I heard down the marina tonight that a boat sank 12 miles off Seaham, and the crew were rescued from their liferaft, if its true i hope everyone aboard was safe and sound...

The lads that mentioned the sinking said the boat was from Sunderland, they heard the rescue on channel 16.....

I heard it was a sunderland boat but they taken to pool as the boat drifted that way...anyway its not out of range, fish the pool sometimes

That's one thing we don't have is a life raft. Got all other safety equipment on board but that's definitely one thing we need after reading about that. Pleased they got back safely in the end, just shows you never know what could be out there. If anyone knows of anyone selling one could you let me know.

Yes it will but my bet is that this gets lifted to sink in such a way is strange they said it might have hit a submerged object???? my bet is they got the gear snagged on a wreck?????????? only time will tell most of all that they are safe
