Boat Sinking

My brother phoned me to say there was a boat sinking off Seaham piers this morning, lifeboats are on the scene.
Dont know what exactly has happened, anyone heard anything??

heard the boat was towed into sunderland, not sure what boat it was , but i think everyone is ok.

Been down the marina tonight and it was an old coble that was towed in. The guy hasnt had it very long and it was taking on water so he called the lifeboat out. n Luckily nobody was hurt during the incident. Was also told the lifeboat got the props caught in a salmon net during the rescue and used the quick releases to remove the props, and lost one prop in the water, only for the fishing boat to hand it in later as it was luckily entangled in the net....Well done to lifeboat crew and good they got thier prop back What would we do without them.....:exclam:
