Bob Murray.

Should we really believe ANYTHING the Echo prints....they have been proved to be liars over the last couple of weeks.

Lets wait till it\'s on sky or the beeb, then we\'ll know it\'s true.

just seen bob murrays farewell interview on the telly, seems its all done and dusted bar a few minor things to iron out, one of which seems to have been the consortiums search for a manager! could this be becos hes been hard to get hold of as he is currently working for the bbc in germany? i hope so!!! :D

Hope you are right mate, the bookies still have Alex McCleish as favourite, which may be slightly disappointing after we\'ve been expecting MON but we need to get 100% behind whoever get\'s the job.

Any of the names being mentioned, the two above or Alan Curbishley have got to be a step in the right direction. :D

Hope there\'s gonna be Magners in the bar :P

Bugger!!! they need to sort the lager out then, it\'s pish!!! might be the way it\'s poured by the non-english speaking bar staff like.

on the news tonite, representatives of the consortium have had a second meeting with martin o\'niell in an effort to get his services for safc meeting was on friday. they have tried once before and he knocked them back but that was when england job was still up for grabs! heres hoping!!!!!!!!!! :D

bob murray did some good work at safc theres no doubt of that! however he ran the club for to long like arkwrights corner shop and when he did put his hand in his pocket it was to late, there were huge problems with the club to many to list.

however we have a real fresh start and i for one believe quinny will get it right he seems to have a knack of doing and saying the correct things at the correct times. he is a very intelligent bloke and genuinely loves the club, he will have my backing.

he has already said he will give the new boss 2 yrs to get promotion, this i believe may be down to the fact he has seen the dross he has inherited on the pitch. we should all back him, he knows he must get it right to start knocking the guy before hes even got his feet under the desk is a bit harsh. i remember when i was at the chelsea match in our second promotion under reidy and we were 4-0 up at half time, this bloke behind me started moaning about how badly we had defended in the first half, that wasnt you matchman was it????????????

For me - he has one chance to put it right. Get it wrong and I for one will be demanding his removal. No excuses.

I for one am under no illusions - results will be my one priority - if they don\'t come, then i\'m afraid i\'ll have to vote with my feet.

How long would this one chance be Paul? 1 game, 1 season, 1 year????

Theres a classic example of being patient in football - Alex Ferguson. He was a knats fanny hair from getting the sack, but they stuck with him and the rest is history.

The Lad hasn\'t even had a week in the job yet, but you\'re starting the \'if results don\'t come I want him out\' talk FFS.

This is a fantastic opportunity for SAFC, and if anyone will get it right, he will.

I know one thing, he\'s got more passion than you and me Paul, and thats a fact. How you may ask? Simple, it\'s easy to be a passionate supporter of your home town team, but to sell the club 8 times over to separate investors AND get them to wipe off nigh on £40m of debt, he couldn\'t have done that without passion, a passion he was under no obligation to have.

Be proud of one thing. Being part of the crowds that showd NQ the feeling and passion of SAFC supporters, enough for him to come and buy this club.
