Thanks to all who fished and sponsored the event, Norma at Amble Angling Centre, for organising, Derek and Susan at the Schooner for hosting and Amble S.A.C for the weigh in. All monies raised went to St Oswalds Hospice and the R.N.L.I.

only 4 from the top 16 that werent fishin with me or me dad, well happy with that, very good day for the lucky lady and the warlord!!:D:D

A cracking turnout, well done to the organisers.
The day turned into a nightmare for us with a casualty to seasickness within an hour, I must admit I felt a bit queasy as the swell was bloody awful early on coupled with the aroma of puke in the air!
The fog cleared where we were a touch then came back in with a vengeance about 12 so we headed in, almost rear ending a container ship on the way back up the river as the fog was that thick.

Graham.

Shame it all went t#ts up for you and Mick Graham, but it was a long run in those conditions adding to the frustrations.
Thanks again for your advice and help.:):)

I think it was a good turn out for the conditions, hopefully next year the weather might be kinder, great presentation and prize table. Norma says she raised over £1800 for the charities, St Oswalds and R.N.L.I. I'll put my catch report on when I get pics from phone if they're any good. Thanks for the comments...Colin
