by the way, well done from a number of us on here, great to see tou think , look, decide and do in the space of days ............. cracking, cant wait for a ride out over the wrecks. Will it be fitted out like starship enterprise again or normal like the rest of us?

well done mate

Norm

looks in fine fettle. Don't know why you bothered though, looks like there's a perfectly suitable outboard bracket on the back of the camper van!!

here's to summer, reckon it could be a good one!

Congrats Bob, she's a fine looking vessel. Hope you get her sorted soon and ready for those summer cod.

ps Do you need all that lead on the roof? we are a bit short :D

thanks norman for posting the pics, it will have normal electrics as it come with a simrad ce33 plotter all i will do is fit a better fish finder...as for choosing the boat so soon i allready knew the style and this one came along at the right price at the right time....just had to take an educated guess on the engine

BTW i am starting a boat deliverly / trailer hire, boat electrics company to add on to my existing bussiness, seems to make sense when i allready do gas installation and inspection works on them, i have done quite a lot of research especially in trailer hire, down south theres quite a few companys hire them out, but none up here, so am looking to buy a few more trailers ( 4 and 6 wheel ones )...seems daft not to, i have all the tools, experience, trailer and vehicle

thanks Kieth, the engine is at northern rebore newcastle at the moment, parts will be ordered in the next few days, will be repaired and put back together by them next week when i am on me hols, i will refit it back in the boat in 2 weeks, then straight in the water............well best laid plans and all that, including all fingers crossed !!

you not asked northern rebore about parts bob??

was along time ago that I last had a block in there, but my impression always was that what they don't know about engines probably aint worth knowing

be surprised if they can't come up with some of the parts or even work out what kubota parts you need

I hope you all realise this now means we have more than enough vessels / skippers to rekindle the NESA fun comps :)

Mark / Ell will have enough desk space for half the membership :D

your not wrong there Mark, i have used them a few times in the past for various jobs, the guy that owns it is a nice geniune guy, and will do what he can to help, he is also trying his suppliers for parts aswell but were attacking the job from both sides

sorry about the lead kieth, your right about the sercurity cameras though, house is covered back and front and digitally recorded......i do a fair amount camera work inc the little covert stuff for a few customers

just noticed her name - seems apt doncha think

Fun comps, yeah, bring it on, get some rasta flags, 5k PA and a steel band on the wheelhouse roof, barbecue/bar on deck.... just the thing to please the yotties coming back into the RQ :D

will defiantley be changing the name....it will be changed to tri-tech my company name, may seem strange but the boat will be advertising the new company, so will be getting the logo along it's hull and everywhere ( bit like the van ).......forgot to mention the boat, marina fees insurance etc will all be tax deductable by doing that, am looking to see if it can be coded for 3 passengers as well

just heard Ritchie is going to buy her sister boat and call it.......will delay, seriously though the longer you wait the more you cant afford one, other things in live take priority i.e. family, bigger house and car...theres plenty of good affordable boats out there, but the longer you leave it as the season gets on and more buyers start looking all the bargain boats will have gone, also unlike cars they dont deprieate much if you look after them

Lol Bob

Yer she a stunner, lots of Arvors kicking around now but i would say its because they are a good looking boat that suits most needs.

Seen the JFK out of the water today in the boat yard, always wanted to see under the boat (sad i know) you can tell why she is so fast. All the brass polished up and the hull painted nice, i was suprised she was not in the water by now. Just goes to show the season is very late this year.

Walked along Shields today and the water was like coke, tide line was still well out to sea. It will be 2 more weeks before i get my summer gear out but on the 6th last year i was already catching sandeel and coalie.

Oppps off topic...great boat, hope you have hours of fun in her and dont damage your knee like on your last boat :)
