think theirs been plenty of codling about but lack of whiting up to now

Last 3 trips I have had decent coleys and whiting. Haven't had a codling since the seas died off a fortnight ago. Any ideas is the sea is due to come away again ?

Not in the near future mate got the odd few hours of southerly winds here and there then the 15th and 16th southerly but the rest westerly winds not looking good
