Boro = Top Dogs In The Northeast

and hasn't steve mclaren done well as england manager, not quite as well as keegan as england manager - both distinctly average!

making a comparison on silverware is really really funny. so sunderland have won the fa cup how many times and had how many final appearances??? and how many fa cup victories have boro notched up???

Newcastle have won more silverware than the pair put together.

but that was ancient history, for the toon, for sunderland and well seeing as boro have never won the fa cup or the league we'll discount that altogether

sunderland fans, who've been very quiet for the last couple of years about how great they are, get promoted and now, crow loudest of all about how much better they are than everyone else. get a grip

you're average, we're average, we're all average, get used to it, its just the way it is, your not going to win or even make a great impression on the premiership next season, neither are the toon nor boro. Nor are you gonna stage some superb run and clinch league cup and/or fa cup trophies. it ain't gonna happen for any of us.

so we got knocked out of the eufa cup, when was the last time Sunderland played in Europe??:D :D :D

Just for the mackems:-
Last 4 yrs in the premiership(that Boro have been in continuously for 10 Yrs),4 teams have been relegated wearing red and white stripes and beginning with S.
Sunderland,Southampton,Sunderland,Sheffield United>>>>>>>>
Beginning to see a pattern yet.Maybe this year it will be a team with GREEN and white stripes that go down:cool: :D  :p :)

Mark I don't even think average makes it mate, more like mediocre. We have a striker who can't score after February and another one who might go to the only club daft enough to pay him a £60k/week 4 yr contract, make your own mind up on that one.Soooo another mediocre year in prospect for the Smoggies.Add to that the Mags rebuilding( mediocre again) and of course Sunlun's remarkably outstanding,Champions league place on their return to the Premiership at the expense of either Liverpool or Arsenal who have both spent about 3 yrs or more building a side that are 21,yes 21 points behind the league champions. There you have next seasons N.E.top dogs.;) :p ;)

talking about strikers shearer is the most overated striker i have known only good for talking penalties he should of retired years ago he must of cost nufc a fortune,in the last five years how many goals has he scored from open play .
my case rests come on you boro and the black cats

that'l be why he scored almost as many goals single handed as the entire sunderland squad could manage last time they were in the premiership....and 4 more goals than the entire sunderland squad could manage the time before that they were in the premiership..... and 6 more than the entire sunderland squad could manage the time before that they were in the premiership

can you see a pattern emerging??:D :D :D :D

Aye 42 Pens out of 206 goals - And Guess which one i liked best YEP you guessed it - His Very Last one in Compitition Football - and his last one EVER ,oh what a day !!!!! thanks to the little Argie ,otherwise it might not have been his last ,or maybe he might have missed all other chances on purpose ,if picked of course ,cos as we know he was a crap player ,NOT

http://nufc.com/2006-07html/shearer-goals-one.html

have a look theres plenty to drool over !!!!!!!!!!!!!

what about the yak and the duk then newcastle were after the yak but he prefered a bigger club thats why he ended up at boro and vaduka was wanted at newcastle but did he go there no again club was too little for him and then theres another one oh yes woodgate newcastle wanted him as well but were did he end up we know were, little rumour going around now newcastle are after southgate player /manager, well he could,nt do much worse than newcastles defence could he hahaha my case rests up the smoggies
john

A goalie and 4 defenders, does that tell you something. Is Bull Sh..,I mean Big Sam gonna build a team around the mainstay of the Newcastle team Kieron 100% Dire (I think thats how you spell it).
What odds for Nolan,Davis or both at Sid James's this season?I hear he's after Ben-Haim,is this one true or more paper talk?

hi ya all, good crack this football all good fun, great final this week cant wait for it john
ps better than fishing is,nt it

as a die hard geordie for a change im not going to bite..........MUCH LOL

as sunderland fans and others often say what about the time NEWCASTLE UNITED use to get 13,000 fans at home stats dont lie [ well that 1 does ] and therefore shearer alone is twice as good as the whole of the sunderland team was a few yrs ago .............. I REST MY CASE

strange how for the 1st time the SMOGGIES beat us in the final premiership table they climb out the woodwork and join in with sunderland trying to say they are bigger than the toon , well stats prove them wrong again and again and allways will

as ive allready said in another page somewere newcastle will finish above you both next season [ not by much tho coz were all s..t and we all know it ]

sunderland ... just a nuisance down the road forever in our shadows
boro ....just a small club in YORKSHIRE but bigger these days than leeds

Its always good fun and the same things pop up everytime.

Newcastle not won anything in ages
Sunderland not filling the stadium
Boro just staying int he prem year after year
Sunderland not being in Europe
Newcastle sacking managers

well the list goes on.....it just shows how much we love our birth towns/citys.

All of the above thread will count for nothing this time next year and god knows what will have happened, thats the best thing about the prem.
